We are looking for a Field Service & Site Manager for our Germany-wide projects in the field of railroad power supply. Your Responsibilities: Coordination, planning, and management of commissioning activities for rectifier substations at customer sites throughout Germany Performing electrical protection and functional testing on medium-voltage switchgear (up to 30kV), DC switchgear (up to 3kV), transformers and low-voltage systems Identifying faults and implementing effective solutions to address disruptions Supporting projects from the implementation phase through to final acceptance Preparing construction plans, overseeing construction billing and managing site approval processes Coordinating and supervising on-site suppliers Maintaining regular communication with external clients, service providers, and regulatory authorities Requirements A successfully completed education in electrical engineering for energy systems or a related discipline Excellent proficiency in German (minimum C2 level), both written and spoken, along with a strong command of English (minimum B2 level). Additional language skills are an asset 5–10 years of professional experience in electrical installations, with a background in energy distribution, renewable energy, electrical equipment, electric machines, railways, or related fields considered advantageous Proven experience in the professional and timely coordination of construction sites, managing multiple suppliers in areas such as buildings, automation, switchgear, transformers, and electrical assembly Proficient knowledge of VOB, HOAI, applicable standards, and technical regulations Knowledge of MS Project Switching authorization for systems up to 30kV A confident and professional demeanor, strong communication skills, dedication, and adaptability High willingness to travel Additional advantageous skills: Experience in managing customer projects.
