Essential Job Functions Directs staff in expediting import correspondence, bid requests, and credit collections Maintain awareness of client needs to develop compliance recommendations and decisions and opportunities for enhanced services. Manages marketing of import services and growth of the procurement segment of the business. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws Arranges shipping details such as import licenses, customs declarations, and packing and routing product Expedites export-import arrangements and maintains current information on export-import tariffs, licenses, and restrictions Effectively manages difficult client situations Other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking. Some light lifting may be required in some instances Other Skills & Abilities Ability to be a team-player and work effectively with senior-level staff. Ability to communicate at all levels, be proactive and be able to work effectively under pressure. Proficient at MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access). Ability to pay attention to detail and be highly organized. Strong desire to work in a fast-paced environment while providing inspiration to a growing team.
