Your area of work:
The Department Core Infrastructure provides efficient and high-class IT infrastructure services for all companies of Deutsche Börse Group (DBG). It consists of the sections Networks, Data Center & Virtualization and the Cloud Platform Engineering.
The department covers the group wide Data Center Management as well as development and operation of DBG’s global Networks. Our highly skilled and experienced team members in Frankfurt/Eschborn, Prague, Luxembourg, Chicago and Zürich are acting as a professional and reliable service provider for our internal and external customers and stakeholders. We strive to deliver excellent quality while being compliant to regulations and legislations applying on financial companies.
We are now looking for a colleague to join our team to manage and support service delivery processes and foster compliance activities across the entire section. This role reports into the Head of Department.
Your responsibilities:
1. Manage projects within the Infrastructure Core department as well as the CTO area
2. Manage projects within major strategic initiatives in the CTO area related to network transformation
3. Support the CTO area with the implementation of standards and guidelines and regulatory requirements related to network infrastructure
4. Support internal and external audits and manage resolution of findings related to network infrastructure
5. Implement regulatory driven topics related to network infrastructure in strong alignment with internal stakeholder in DBG, internal and external auditors
6. Ensure operational effectiveness together with the line organisation
7. Prepare and follow-up on network infrastructure audits driven by internal and external auditors or Regulators
8. Prepare and review written rule frameworks related to the network infrastructure
9. Analyse and evaluate new regulatory requirements related to the network infrastructure
Your profile:
10. You have +5 yrs professional experience as an IT-Line-Manager, Project Manager or similar role
11. You have a degree in Computer Science or a quantitative / engineering field (Maths, Physics, Engineering or similar)
12. You have solid IT knowledge, preferably in IT Operations, Network, Data Center, Business Analysis and Project Management
13. You have a solid understanding of network infrastructures, incl. Cloud expertise (GCP and Azure)
14. You have a very good understanding of ITIL and/or COBIT framework; relevant certification preferred
15. You have a good understanding of technology concepts and operational processes
16. You have strong leadership skills and experience in the organization of projects
17. You have experience with audits and risk management methodologies
18. You have experience in banking regulation (e.g. MA Risk, BAIT, DORA, EBA, BaFin, CSSF)
19. You have a high analytical mind-set
20. You bring a high degree of communication skills and working within a professional environment
21. You are a highly motivated, organized individual who can work effectively with minimal supervision
22. You are a strong team player, able to collaborate with technical experts and managers on different levels
23. Proficiency in written and spoken English; German and French language skills will be an asset.
