Position Overview Our client, a global leading industrial technology business, is looking for a Head of Operational Excellence to lead and drive Lean Six Sigma initiatives across regional manufacturing sites. If you are a strong communicator, driven, and eager to make an impact, we would love to hear from you Key Responsibilities Lead and execute Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at improving operational performance across 4 sites, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost savings. Conduct data analysis to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in production processes. Facilitate problem-solving initiatives and champion Lean methodologies to improve the overall production process. Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and track their effectiveness. Report directly to the Head of Manufacturing and collaborate with other regional leaders to align on strategic goals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. International Travel to support and collaboration (approximately 25%). Qualifications & Experience A Bachelor's / Master’s degree is a plus, but not mandatory. 5-10 Years hands-on experience in Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, and the disciplined execution of process improvements within a manufacturing environment is essential Background in process manufacturing (e.g., plastics, chemicals, or food production) is highly desirable. Previous experience as a Production Manager, Team Leader, or Lean Operations Manager is highly desirable. Experience developing and implementing an operational excellence strategy Proven Track Record and Experience with implementing Lean and leading Continuous Improvement projects and activities across sites Strong people-oriented leadership skills, strong communication, change management, and empathy, with robust process-oriented expertise in tools such as Value Stream Mapping and Standardized Work Fluent in German (C1 Level) and Business Proficiency in English 25% Travel across various sites in the DACH region and wider EMEA.
