Job Description The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a National Key Account Manager for Volkswagen Group, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading the national “VW Home Country” Account Team. Driving Sales, Penetration Per Vehicle, and Spec-In wins. Executing the New Model Planning Process to drive the Spec-In pipeline. Continuously searching for new opportunities through applying the „Application Replication” process and tools. Exploring „Quick Fix” opportunities through targeted visits and line walks. Driving „Competitive Conversion” of „Close-Lost” opportunities through a consistent monitoring process. Ensuring „Pitch & Catch” with National Tier Team translating Spec-In wins into Sales. Interacting with Sales Operations and Application Engineering. Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Proven experience as a sales leader of international teams. Substantial experience with strategic key account management. Demonstrated success in selling complex products. Fluency in English and German. Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Bachelor’s degree and/ or master’s degree in business or marketing. Proven sales and marketing experience in the Automotive industry. Comfortable working in a technical/engineering environment. Experience in effective communication across virtual teams. Collaboration skills, influencing cross-functional teams. Strategic/tactical planning, and prioritization skills. Demonstrated experience of effective negotiation skills. High degree of commercial acumen.
