Come grow with us Job Requirements: Manages and coordinates company's financial function including general accounting, cost management, budgeting, cash flow and payroll in accordance with corporate policies and procedures to meet companyu2019s business requirements. This is a finance position for a specific location governed by policies and frameworks established by the larger corporation. Implements and administers established accounting and controlling policies, procedures, and practices to meet finance requirements supporting short and long-term business needs. Ensures maintenance of general accounting, cost accounting, payroll, payables, and receivables. Does and oversees the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Ensures accurate and timely recording and reporting of operating results. Provides financial analysis, interpretation of variances from budgets and standards, and advice to management. In a supporting deputy leadership role manages, motivates and assesses performance of a small team of accountants and financial analysts. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, cash flow, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures. Monthly/Quarterly/year close, Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets to provide insights into business performance and trends. Collaborate with internal teams to develop and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts. Conduct variance analysis and identify areas for cost optimization and process improvements. Preparation of financial audits and tax filings, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Support management decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial information and analysis. Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks. Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as assigned. Improvement of efficiency and analysis. Qualifications/ Experience: Bachelor's degree in Controlling, Accounting or Finance Proven experience in accounting and controlling roles, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting and analysis. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments. Proactive mindset with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
