We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for an S&OP Manager within our Leadership team to help support our Hydraulics business at our Pacoma branch in Eschwege, Germany. Pacoma is one of the world's leading suppliers of hydraulic cylinders. Our cylinders are extensively used in the construction machinery industry, the automobile industry, and in engineering applications as well as in logistics and material handling. Furthermore our cylinders can also be used in agricultural and maritime applications etc. Pacoma stands out with its individual designs, its consistently superior global quality and its high-capacity production facilities. Our factory in Eschwege, Germany, can singularly handle a quarter million units per year working at normal capacity. With the opening of a dynamic modern facility in China in 2011, Pacoma is even better positioned to serve its customers with high output and convenient logistics. Our success is the product of decades of experience. Over the course of more than 40 years, we have developed, designed and produced hydraulic cylinders of nearly every possible type. As an SOP Manager you will have the opportunity to design, deploy and lead the SOP process across Pacoma. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by collating Sales and Operations figures and forecasting our manufacturing output capabilities.
So, what will you be doing as an SOP Manager?
* Design and deploy an integrated, enterprise wide, cross functional process to optimize sales, cylinder assembly and inbound raw material and component deliveries across Pacoma’s supply chain
* Responsible for leading a monthly S&OP process to optimize customer deliveries, manufacturing schedules and component deliveries with the objective of achieving +95% Customer OTIF and minimal inventories.
* Identify and develop near and longer term continuous improvement actions related supply chain risks, such as lead times, internal and supplier capacity constraints as well as economic risks
* Improve forecasting accuracy
* Establish monthly Supply Chain target and KPIs
* Member of the Pacoma leadership team
* Support Sales, Operations and Purchasing by identifying and help lead continuous improvement actions
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
* Preferably degree in supply chain planning
* Previous experience in managing S&OP process in the automotive industry
* Minimum 5 years leading an automotive industry S&OP process
* Bias for action, sees opportunities, business mindset, strong teamwork skills, creates trust, clear communicator
