About you and this role
We are looking for you, an ambitious bachelor’s/master’s student, to support our POPG plant by doing an internship project in Explore analytical technologies to identify odor changes in Propylene Glycol samples for our location in Stade, Germany .

Project description
The student will explore the market for possible technologies which will provide the possibility to identify odor changes in Propylene Glycols. Project scope will include the plan how to implement a possible solution (project plan, value calculation, schedule, comparison of methods,…). This is done in close collaboration with the production plant, quality team and the local analytical science team.
In addition, the student will support the implementation of a new method on how to analyze sulfuric ash, including new procedure and testing at the lab. This is conducted with guidance of the business analytical SME.
Responsibilities
1. Research of technology for identify odor changes in samples
2. Development of a business project plan
3. Support in the implementation of new sulfuric ash method at the lab in POPG
Qualifications
4. You are currently studying for a bachelor’s/master’s degree in a Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Quality Assurance or related
5. You have a good working knowledge of English and German

You can start as soon as possible for a period of 3 to 6 months (exact timing to be discussed).
