The mission of Group Privacy is to develop and sustain the Allianz Group's privacy strategy framework, empowering our businesses to enhance trust among customers, employees, and third parties in the handling of their data. We advocate for the ethical use of AI within Allianz and facilitate the adoption of emerging data regulations to foster sustainable business growth.
As a member of our Global Privacy Advisory & HR team, you will play a pivotal role in providing privacy advice to our Operating Entities. Your responsibilities will include managing and steering Group-wide projects related to AI and data regulation, developing Group-wide privacy tech capabilities and approaches, advising on digital projects across the Group, and overseeing HR Privacy matters.
How can you make an impact?
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced attorney with a specialization in Data Protection Law to provide expert legal advice, ideally with an international background. Your primary objective in this role will be to ensure our clients' compliance with all applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), with a particular emphasis on HR Privacy.
You will be fluent in English and possess substantial experience in an international business environment, as well as expertise in regulatory project management. If you are a proactive individual who can seamlessly integrate legal insights into business operations, ensuring robust data protection practices across the board, we encourage you to apply.
What are you made of?
Minimum Qualifications:
* 5+ years of professional work experience in a relevant function /Consulting /Project Management
* Strong academic track record with relevant studies e.g. Law, Insurance or Information Technology
* Solid understanding and expertise with complex regulatory framework and requirements in terms of Data Protection (GDPR)
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills
* Mature Project Management skills (PRINCE 2, PMP or similar)
* Fluent in English
* Very sharp analytic and conceptual skills
* High level of reliability, resilience, and commitment
* Excellent communication skills, negotiation skills and assertiveness
* Initiative and a sense of responsibility
Preferred Qualifications:
* Privacy certifications (e.g. CIPP/E)
* Basic Compliance background is of an advantage
* Previous experience in business related functions (i.e. Sales, Operations, Claims, Underwriting, Investment Management, Asset Management, Consulting, Product Development, Finance, Market Management, Digital / Tech etc.) is a plus
* Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
