Safety Europe is seeking for a Manager Safety Operations & Certification f/m/d based in Leipzig or Bonn, other specific European DHL Express locations might also be possible, to be a part of our global network as a member of the Network Operations Management Team, could this be you? YOUR TASKS · Engage with country management teams to provide support for executing safety operations and compliance. · Conduct periodic and ad hoc safety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with operational and safety policies. · Support risk assessments regularly and when operational or safety conditions change. · Lead investigation efforts to ensure thorough investigations, identification of causes, and implementation of measures to prevent recurrence. · Manage execution of safety operations as per the regional safety program. · Ensure timely follow-ups with the DHL Network on safety issues and concerns. · Provide safety updates to countries and the DHL Network as appropriate. · Engage with commercial departments to address safety requirements during tendering processes. · Ensure regional compliance with ISO 45001 audit guidelines and manage certification initiatives. · Oversee the successful first and recertification of ISO 45001 for all regional entities. · Support continuous safety assessments and establish safety standards, policies, and practices.
