Role: Scala Engineer / Lead Developer
Location: Germany - presence in Berlin or Hamburg is needed 1-2 x per month.
Signify are collaborating with a long-standing client of ours who are searching for experienced Scala Developers, with leadership experience to join their established Scala team.
About you:
* Experienced within Scala and Functional Programming.
* Worked with libraries such as Cats and Cats Effect.
* Experience with Kubernetes and deploying on AWS is highly advantageous.
* Prior experience leading people.
* Must be based in Germany and can work without requiring visa sponsorship.
What you'll do:
* Collaborate closely with fellow developers helping to create a unique app ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for their customers.
* Guide your team by cultivating a supportive and empowering environment, contributing to their professional and personal growth.
* Oversee the quality of your teams systems upholding rigorous standards via code reviews and testing.
