Job Description
Bosch Rexroth has recently become the majority shareholder of the young and innovative company, Kassow Robots. Together, we are actively scaling our businesses and driving innovation in the field. Kassow Robots is a young robotics company specializing in a unique 7-axis lightweight robot for the rapidly growing collaborative robot market. While our main base is in Copenhagen, we also have locations in Prague, and our core team is based in Ulm. As our working student, you will have a mix of technical and business responsibilities. You will work closely with the Kassow Robots core team, our global Bosch Rexroth sales team and our distribution partners. It is a crucial step to better serve our target customer segments, to scale with our sales network and ecosystem technology partnerships, and to monitor and steer our business strategy. Our team is responsible for building this global network and managing the business around the world.
1. As a part of our team, you will collaborate with the global sales team to identify and target potential clients for the new innovative product.
2. You will conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends, and help develop sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth for the new product.
3. Furthermore, you will support the sales team in creating and delivering compelling sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients, as well as helping to negotiate and close new business.
4. In addition, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure the successful launch and promotion of the new product.
5. Last but not least, you will provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline and performance to the sales team and management (using data from the CRM system), and take the lead on smaller projects such as sales campaigns, lead generation, events.
Qualifications
6. Education: studies in the field of in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Management or comparable with a prior study in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Engineering or comparable
7. Experience and Knowledge: proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel); CRM experience (MS Power BI), previous experience in sales, business development or engineering with a solid understanding of technical concepts and principles combined with strong project management and business skills is an advantage; working student experience or international experience is a plus
8. Personality and Working Practice: a self-motivated person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset
9. Work Routine: The position is based in Ulm, Germany, but some remote working is possible.
10. Enthusiasm: strong interest in business development, sales and entrepreneurship
11. Languages: fluent in English, German or other languages an advantage
Additional Information
Start: according to prior agreement
Duration: 6 months – 10 h/week
