Hauptaufgaben
Prepares and cooks food in bulk quantities or individual servings for regular and/or modified diets required for morning, noon, evening, late meals and/or special feedings.
Sets up and serves hot and cold foods on serving lines and portions foods for individual servings on trays in accordance with regular or modified diets as indicated by instructions. Stores leftovers as required in accordance with sanitation standards.
Sets up the sandwich bar and serves the sandwiches during meal times. Breaks the bar down, cleans and restocks it.
Cleans and maintains equipment and work areas in sanitary condition, sweeps and mops floors, washes utensils, tables and refrigerators, and cleans ovens and ranges, and performs cleaning of other kitchen equipment as needed.
Must understand and follow all HACCP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point procedures. Ensures that foods are stored at the correct temperatures to prevent bacterial growth. Maintains accurate food inventories and rotates stock items to prevent spoilage.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
A2-7404-5:
Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade.
OR
5 years of specialized experience.
A2-7404-6:
Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent. The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently.
OR
8 years of specialized experience of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY LEVEL:
English AND German Language Proficiency Level B1 required.

This is a permanent part time position, 19.25 hrs./w.
• Heavy lifting up to 40 lbs (ca. 18kg) required.
• It is highly recommended that all employees who provide work in military treatment facilities in Germany be immunized against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 infection each year or as often as recommended.
The immunization will be provided at no cost to the employee.
• In accordance with § 20a paragraph 3 ifSG, proof of vaccination or recovery is required to be submitted prior to hiring and must follow the latest version of the COVID-19 Protective Measures Exception Ordinance.
