As an IT Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping GRAS’s IT landscape and ensuring our software solutions align with business needs. Your main duties will be: Translate business needs into products by gathering requirements, refining software specifications, and working closely with vendors. Analyse and optimize information systems, tailoring them to meet business and operational needs. Lead IT and software-related projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption. Bridge the gap between business and IT teams, facilitating clear communication and alignment on technical requirements. Define and drive product strategy, acting as a Product Owner in software development projects. Facilitate Agile methodologies, managing backlogs and contributing to sprint planning. Develop and maintain business-critical software systems, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and compliance with sustainability standards. Improve quality management by introducing professional IT project documentation and best practices. Manage API integrations and system interoperability, ensuring seamless connectivity between applications. Support product portfolio strategy, identifying opportunities for new solutions in sustainability and supply chain traceability. Your profile We are looking for a strategic thinker and problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You bring: A university degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Management, or a related field. 3-5 years of professional experience in IT project management, business analysis, or as a Product Owner, with hands-on experience in business systems analysis, software development, and requirement gathering. Expertise in IT solutions, including databases, system design, cloud computing, cybersecurity. Experience with API integrations, system interoperability, and software architecture concepts. Proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), including sprint planning and backlog management (e.g. JIRA). Familiarity with software testing methodologies, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Commercial awareness and ability to work with complex data and systems, contributing to strategic product decisions. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and liaise between technical and non-technical teams. Fluency in English (at least C1) and good German skills (B2). A proactive, structured, and independent working style with a pragmatic, hands-on attitude. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and adaptability in fast-paced environments. A customer-oriented mindset, high commitment to quality, and a collaborative team player. Knowledge of certification systems, sustainability regulations, or GIS is a plus. Why us?
