Our Raunheim, Germany site, located near Frankfurt Airport, serves as an important Repair & Overhaul (R&O) centre for Auxiliary Power Units (APUs) and Special Components, Accessories and Services (SCAS). As an integral part of the Aerospace Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) operations, the Raunheim site specializes in repairing APU engines and associated components for major commercial airlines in the region, as well as contributing to the defence sector. We are now looking for a committed "Project Leader (m/f/d) Manufacturing Excellence".
As the Project Leader for Honeywell Manufacturing Excellence (HMX) at our Raunheim site, you will play a crucial role in driving continuous improvement through kaizens, standard work, effective tier meetings and the adoption of digital tools. In addition to supporting HMX, one of your responsibilities will be streamlining communication between site operations and Customer & Product Support. Your leadership will ensure a smooth flow of information, enabling both Customer satisfaction and efficient repair of products.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives and the adoption of digital tools at the Raunheim site
* Improve communication between site operations and Customer & Product Support to address z-tasks and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) priorities
* Ensure efficient information flow to support effective product repairs
* Collaborate with various departments to drive operational excellence
Key skills and qualifications
* Degree in manufacturing or business
* Demonstrated long-term experience within a comparable role requiring advanced operations and service knowledge
* Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing, coaching and motivating high performing teams and the ability to drive initiatives addressing operational and organizational excellence
* Outstanding analytical, problem solving and communication skills
* Excellent planning, execution and project-management capabilities
* Critical & multi-level thinking (from strategic to tactical)
* Experience in Lean tools, such as VSM, Process mapping, 5S, Bottleneck analysis, Continuous flow, Gemba, Kaizen
* Skilled in SAP, Microsoft Office 365 and IT reporting tools such as PowerBi or Tableau
* Proficiency in German and English
