Your mission
Drive and implement our tech agenda for 6-9 months while fostering collaboration, speed, and urgency. You’ll unite and motivate teams, advocate for engineering while ensuring we win as one, and bridge the gap between tech and non-tech teams.
Here's how you'll make an impact:
* Lead and align a team of highly skilled engineering directors, keeping them focused, motivated, and continuously improving.
* Ensure high standards in software development while fostering a culture of execution and learning.
* Partner closely with Product and Product Design to develop and deliver great products with agility.
* Scale and optimize our engineering operations for maximum efficiency and impact.
* Be the voice of engineering in leadership discussions, translating challenges and needs across teams.
Your Qualifications / To excel in this role, you should possess:
* Proven leadership: 10+ years of experience leading engineering managers/directors.
* Hands-on tech experience: Strong background in software engineering, ideally with Spring Boot, React, Kotlin, or Java.
* Execution mindset: A bias for action, speed, and urgency, while understanding the importance of detail.
* Scalability & reliability: Deep knowledge of modern architectures, DevOps (IaC, AWS), and SaaS product development.
* Strategic communicator: Able to translate complex technical needs to non-tech stakeholders with clarity.
* Agile & adaptable: Comfortable navigating evolving priorities and ensuring teams stay aligned.
