Dry Etching Process ExpertFull-time - Permanent Onsite - WeilheimWe are looking for an expert engineer to join a global-leading technology company at their Fab in the Greater Munich Metropolitan Area (Weilheim in Oberbayern). This is a brand-new project that will have a huge impact on the semiconductor industry within Germany and Europe.This organization seeks a highly-experienced person to help lead this project to success, does this sound interesting to you?Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of the silicon carbide (SiC) dry etching process, driving innovation and efficiency.Develop and optimize manufacturing workflows for SiC power components related to dry etching, ensuring high quality and seamless operations during ramp-up, pre-production, and production phases.Proactively monitor engineering processes, swiftly address any deviations, implement corrective measures, and analyze process data.Ensure products meet reliability requirements by understanding and applying testing methods and taking full accountability for evaluating product reliability within your expertise area.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in a field within the semiconductor industry.Over 10 years of hands-on experience in developing and implementing semiconductor dry etching processes.Deep familiarity with SiC process flows, manufacturing techniques and characterization methods are preferred.Expertise in semiconductor material processing, particularly in power device development.Proficiency in measurement methods and techniques for assessing materials and process outcomes.Why Join?As a member of this Manufacturing Team, you will have autonomy over your area of expertise and will be looked to as an SME.
