Your Tasks
Together with IHG and your team (regional sales, hotel sales & marketing) you will establish the hotel brands Holiday Inn - the niu, Garner and Candlewood Suites, stimulate business and ensure the continuous improvement of revenue and RGI growth.
You will also be responsible for the following tasks:
* Development of sales strategies and tactics to maximise sales and strengthen the brands in close cooperation with the relevant departments.
* Review marketing and sales budgets and allocated expenditures to ensure the most effective use of funds available to support business objectives.
* Report key metrics such as RGI, cost of sales profitability and total revenue budget on a regular basis.
* Assist hotels in fully utilizing the available market intelligence for developing strategic plans and a better understanding of the competition and business trends.
* Work closely with the Revenue Management & Regional Sales team on driving hotel performance with emphasis on high CTP hotels and key cities.
* Support hotels in increasing their contribution to the system by maximising the use of all booking channels.
* Ensure synergy in the use of hotel operating systems, technology and sales practices and the sharing of best practices.
* Responsible for identifying the training needs of the region and hotels in the assigned area and coordinating training programs.
* Identify high-potential talent for development in the assigned area.
Your Profile

* already have several years of experience in a comparable position.
* have good knowledge of the performance of hotel and distribution systems.
* can confidently analyse and interpret data to derive trends from it.
* have an affinity for numbers and like setting targets and performance goals.
* have an understanding of the German market, including the primary and tertiary markets.
* have an affinity for technology.
* are able to multitask and can manage several tasks simultaneously and do so within the given deadline.
* know how to create presentations that are to the point and have impact.
* are strategic and tactical thinkers, but can also incorporate creativity into strategies.
* speak fluent German and English.
