The Opportunity
This position works out of our location in Wiesbaden (Abbott GmbH) in the Abbott Diabetes Care division that is focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions.
What You’ll Do
1. Owning and leading complex projects with strong focus on data and analytics - ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
2. Understanding business requirements and translating them into clear user stories and technical requirements for development teams.
3. Acting as a data quality champion in multiple cloud environments and reflecting the business vision into a clearly defined roadmap.
4. Assessing and prioritizing the product roadmaps to ensure the most critical steps receive the highest priority.
5. Overseeing and guiding the relevant IT teams from business perspective to create a strong end-product.
6. Coordinating regularly with stakeholders to create a clear line of communication and visibility regarding timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
7. Performing data analysis to troubleshoot data-related issues and assist in identifying and resolving these issues.
Qualifications & Skills
8. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science and Software Engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
9. 10+ years of experience working as a data product owner, business analyst or similar position, focusing on B2C mass markets (e.g. e-commerce, retailers, digital banking)
10. Extensive experience with E-Commerce and Customer Experience systems, focusing on customer and transactional data.
11. Proficiency with SQL, Python or R.
12. Experience with Customer data platforms, master data management, system integrations and data migration.
13. Vast experience in working with complex data sources with large volumes.
14. Proven track record in managing and delivering complex advanced analytics projects.
15. Experience with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS) stack: Glue, S3, Cognito, Informatica CDQ
16. Experience with ETL processes.
17. Experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI
18. Fluent in English (other European language is a plus)
