Within the area of developing information- and communication systems (I&K) you are responsible for developing the functions graphics and display management on head-units.
What awaits you?
1. You realize requirements for user interfaces and video content visualization across multiple in-car displays. You realize these requirements in I&K architecture, software architecture and ECU specification documentation.
2. You are responsible for these architectures and specification documentations in the series development of I&K ECUs, both towards internal software development teams as well as towards suppliers.
3. You define acceptance criteria for software and vehicle integration. You support project leads in planing and effort estimation. You lead software reviews. You analyze errors in the realization of the current system.
4. Within your domain you are responsible for the distributed graphics architecture, the compositing including safety concepts, the GPU and performance evaluation and its embedding into the operating systems Linux and Android. Also, you represent this towards the E/E- and hard-/software system architects as well as in relevant committees.
5. The architecture specification happens in tight alignment with affected centers of competence, development teams and I&K architecture roles.
What should you bring along?
6. University degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
7. More than five years of experience and proven track record in the areas of system architecture of control units, especially in the area of 3D graphics (OpenGL/Vulkan), compositing (Wayland/SurfaceFlinger) and GPUs in modern ARM and x86 based SoC architecture.
8. Expert knowledge and expertise in video codecs, camera systems, 3D engines, image processing, automotive bus technologies and protocols and interfaces (in particular AVB, SomeIP, Display and Camera serialization and deserialization).
9. Expert experience in the development of embedded software and hard-/software architectures of in-field/customer products which run under Linux and Android, Autosar is a plus.
10. Master the basic concepts of image processing including evaluation of its effects on graphics.
11. A signifcant passion for result-driven re-iterating of solutions with many different stakeholders.
12. Experience in UML as well as case tool based modeling.
13. Fluent English language skills, good German language skills are a plus.
