YOUR TEAM
Our department HR Compliance, Labour Law & Relations advises the company on all labour law matters and maintains relations with our co-determination departments. We are the central point of contact in all matters relating to labour law for our executive board, our human resources department and our specialist departments. As a dedicated team of employment law specialists, we form the backbone of the company in all matters pertaining to employment law compliance in close coordination with the CARIAD’s other legal departments and our colleagues within the VW Group.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Advice on all individual and collective employment law issues
* Advising and managing M&A projects on all employment law issues
* Support and management of cross-departmental legal projects, including in the context of the transformation of CARIAD
* Employment law support in negotiations with employee committees
* Support in negotiations with trade unions to conclude collective agreements
* Advising our Executive Board, our operational HR departments and our specialist departments on all matters relating to employment law, including the drafting of contracts, agreements and guidelines
* Monitoring current case law and initiating necessary change
WHO YOU ARE
* You have an above-average first and second state examination in law
* You have in-depth practical knowledge of employment law and many years of professional experience, ideally also in a company
* You have excellent knowledge of German labour law, including works constitution and collective bargaining law
* You are characterized by your pragmatic and solution-oriented approach to employment law issues paired with an analytical mind and strategic thinking
* You have the ability to deal with sensitive topics diplomatically, discreetly and tactfully
* Fluent in German and English language (both written and verbal).
