Your Tasks
* You shape the future of automotive vehicle diagnostics as a Diagnostic Architect with a focus on diagnostic technology
* You work in a global and agile team within TRATON and contribute to the conceptualization and further development of the diagnostic architecture and software update architecture for future software-defined vehicles (SDV)
* You consider the entire system, including the vehicle-side diagnostic architecture, the involved backend systems, tools, and their interfaces
* You develop concepts while adhering to safety and cyber security requirements and coordinate these with all relevant departments
* You document the derived requirements in specifications and support their implementation
Your Qualification
* You have professional experience in electronic control unit development, especially in vehicle diagnostics and software updates
* You possess a comprehensive understanding of functions in electronic automotive control units
* You have extensive knowledge of the UDS diagnostic protocol and its application (ISO 14229) on CAN (DoCAN) and especially on Ethernet (DoIP)
* You have extensive knowledge of communication networks and signal transmission in the automotive environment, focusing on service-oriented communication and service-oriented diagnostics (SOVD)
* You have good knowledge in requirements engineering
* You possess good knowledge of automotive software platforms (classic and adaptive AUTOSAR), especially on highly integrated automotive control units (HPC)
* You are familiar with the relevant requirements from cyber security in the field of diagnostics
* You ideally have software development experience
* You possess application knowledge in the ODX description format according to ISO 22901 (desirable)
* You have experience using JIRA and Confluence
* You have fluent English skills, both written and spoken
* You ideally have experience working in agile teams
