In this role, you will be a critical player in the construction and assembly of mechanical systems within large-scale projects for a leading global EPCM company. This is a temp-to-perm position, with the potential for long-term career advancement within an industry leader at the forefront of technological innovation and sustainability.As a Mechanical Construction Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical construction activities on-site. This includes adhering to stringent safety and quality standards while working on projects that are driving the energy transition and creating new value chains in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Mechanical Site Management: Oversee and manage all mechanical construction activities, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.Project Execution Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the Project Execution Plan, focusing on mechanical aspects to align with overall project goals.Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that all mechanical construction complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as industry-specific quality standards.Cost and Progress Control: Monitor costs and project progress, ensuring that milestones are met and addressing any issues that arise during the construction phase.Coordination of Mechanical Trades: Manage and coordinate the work of mechanical subcontractors and trades, ensuring seamless integration with other project disciplines.Pre-Construction Planning: Assist in the planning and preparation phases of the project, including resource allocation and site readiness for mechanical construction activities.Documentation and Reporting: Oversee the completion and verification of all mechanical-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Regulatory Compliance: Act as the mechanical supervisor, ensuring all activities comply with local building regulations (LBO) and other applicable standards.Qualifications:Educational Background: Degree or technician certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Professional Experience: At least 7 years of experience in mechanical construction, particularly within the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries.Language Proficiency: Proficiency in German (minimum B2 level) and English.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office and relevant mechanical construction software; SCC certification is required.The next stepWe have an exceptional team in place, and we are pleased to be able to appoint a further person to our growing business.
