The Role
As Director of Pricing, you’ll own the end-to-end pricing strategy, ensuring it drives revenue growth and reflects the value of industry-leading products. You will:
✅ Develop and implement discount policies with clear approval processes to protect margins and ensure consistency.
✅ Collaborate with sales teams to create persuasive pricing materials and arguments that drive deal closures.
✅ Define and execute pricing strategies, working closely with product management to align pricing with packaging.
✅ Lead pricing experiments — design, run, and analyze tests to refine models and validate assumptions.
✅ Manage complex pricing projects, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
✅ Leverage data insights for pricing-related analysis, including price-volume simulations, elasticities, and customer segmentation.
✅ Ensure the company captures maximum value from its innovative products, strengthening its market position.
What You Bring
You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for pricing, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence at all levels. Here’s what makes you a strong fit:
Education: University degree in business, economics, statistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in a pricing role, ideally in a B2B (B2G preferred) environment.
Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM and CPQ tools, with hands-on pricing project experience in corporate or consulting settings.
Pricing Expertise: Strong knowledge of software pricing (SaaS preferred); hardware pricing experience is a plus.
Data Skills: Solid analytical capabilities, plus expertise in pricing-related analysis (elasticities, benchmarking, clustering).
Collaborative Approach: Proven ability to work effectively with sales, finance, and product teams.
While the company is headquartered in Germany, this role offers the flexibility to be based anywhere within the EU, with no German language skills required.
