Role Overview: The Technical Services representative is responsible for responding to technical product requirements of the customer. Working in tandem with Regional Sales Managers to provide technical support to new and existing customers. Responsible for technical reports, product sles and present technical analysis. Plan and modify product configurations to meet technical customer needs. Conduct customer trials. Determine evaluation and qualifications of alternate pigment suppliers, recipe management for Blacks, Additives, Ti02, alternate RMs and other qualifications as needed. Provides exceptional customer service to ensure customer contract requirements are met. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Identify quality control issues and provide resolution. Increase customer relationships through continuous customer interaction and visits. Create and develop technical reports. Ensure finished product analysis is complete. Exceptional understanding of process and technical requirements. Confer with customers, sales and product management to assess product and equipment needs to determine technical requirements to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Works closely with customer service representatives to fulfil customer requirements. Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery of sles. Maintain and ensure company meets regulatory compliance requirements through various government agencies and associations (exles: FDA, MSDS, DS, CONEG) Processes the necessary paperwork and compliance coding. Develop, present, or respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry specific solutions. Writes technical reports and papers as needed based on customer sles and technical product analysis. Diagnose potential problems. Prepare and deliver technical presentations that explain products or services to customers and prospective customers. Participates and presents at various tradeshows, conferences and sales meetings. Is the technical expert. Actively participates in a myriad of internal meetings associated with understanding process efficiencies, problems, and increasing of sales.
