The Key AccountManager (d/f/m) will be responsible for driving directsales growth and increasing margins in the Munich area, within one of the fastest growing sectors of lifescience research.
Thisposition is part of the Account/Direct Sales department and will be fully remote .
Inthis role, you will have the opportunity to:
* Developstrategies to win new business through advanced geographic keyaccount planning, account mapping, and networking
* Deploy, coordinate, andleverage our outstanding Leica team of Advanced WorkflowSpecialists, Product Sales Specialists, Inside Sales Specialists,Marketing colleagues, and even our Channel Partners to ensure ourcustomers are talking to the right people at the right times
* Decide what happens andhow we serve our customers in the defined geographical key accountarea
* Manage opportunitiesand sales funnel proactively and constantly in order to produceaccurate forecasts for the purpose of business planning
The essential requirements of the job include:
1. Degree in lifesciences (biology, physics, etc.) or another natural science, orcomparable professional experience
2. Strong and proven salestrack record in a relevant industry (medical devices, lifesciences) with previous exposure to microscopy strongly preferred
3. First experiences inmanaging and/or leading cross funct
