Job Description The Berlin Center for Epidemiology and Health Research (ZEG Berlin) is a research organization in the heart of Berlin and at the forefront of pharmacoepidemiology research, specializing in the early detection and quantification of safety risks associated with the use of therapeutic, preventative or diagnostic drugs. ZEG is a Joint Venture with Oracle Career Level - M3 Responsibilities As a Senior Manager for the Data Management Team, you will support the Managing Director with data management tasks, obtain resources for data management obligations in ZEG Berlin studies within the agreed financial and time frames and supervise all technical aspects concerning management of study data. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate resources and contractors for the execution of data management procedures within ZEG Berlin projects Administrative and personnel tasks, no (or less) operational Support Managing Director in preparing requested study proposals Ensure resource availability and allocation Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques Report and escalate to Managing Director, as needed Contribute to the development of the study-specific working procedures and data management SOPs and guidelines Organization of regular team meetings, attendance at the ZEG Berlin inter-departmental team meetings Coordinate the tasks between the data management team leads (Study Data Management and Event Processing and Coding) and advise them of their duties Conduct personal interviews and job interviews of staff members Employee management, recognizing strengths and weaknesses, promoting, challenging, developing Qualifications: Academic degree or certificate(s) of achievement demonstrating relevant expertise in medical informatics, information science, computer science or related areas 5 or more years of experience in data management Experience leading a team Significant experience in clinical or epidemiological data management, experience in (pharmaco-) epidemiological data preferred Experience in electronic data capture (EDC) and other database systems Understanding of Statistical Administration Software (SAS) Understanding of SQL/MySQL Understanding of Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) is preferred Fluent in English and conversational German (B1) Acknowledged team orientation Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Excellent supervisory and organizational skills About Us As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrowu2019s technology to tackle todayu2019s challenges.
