We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager – Mobility & Healthcare to join our growing international team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the sales and business development strategy for the Mobility Vertical (including but not limited to the healthcare sector), with a particular focus on global and European-based mobility clients.
As a qualified professional, you will drive industry-specific solutions based on Nippon Express Group’s logistics and supply chain offerings, working closely with existing and potential customers. You will serve as a key representative to our top global key accounts within the Mobility segment, playing a pivotal role in customer engagement and business growth.
These are your key tasks:
* Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies through consultative sales techniques.
* Identify and drive new business opportunities in the IV Mobility and Healthcare sectors.
* Maintain and grow relationships with a portfolio of key regional and global accounts.
* Align closely with country sales teams, overseas regions, and HQ to ensure a cohesive sales approach.
* Generate cross-sell and upsell opportunities across all Nippon Express services (Air, Ocean, Rail, Logistics, Road).
* Manage sales pipeline, RFQs, and reporting through CRM tools.
* Lead the development and execution of key account management plans.
* Monitor sales performance, revenue targets, and profitability for assigned accounts.
* Provide market insights and strategic input to product and tender management teams.
* Organize and participate in regular customer reviews and performance evaluations.
* Ensure smooth handover of new business from sales to operations in collaboration with implementation teams.
* Represent the company at industry events, workshops, and exhibitions to build market presence.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
* Advanced degrees or relevant industry certifications are an asset but not mandatory.
* In-depth understanding of trade lane dynamics within the Mobility and Healthcare industries.
* Comprehensive knowledge of air freight, ocean freight, and integrated logistics business models.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in freight forwarding or a related logistics environment.
* Proven sales expertise is essential; experience in the Mobility sector or capital equipment markets is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver high-impact presentations and conduct effective commercial negotiations.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex and variable operational scenarios.
* Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills; capable of working effectively under pressure.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in decision-making, stakeholder management, and team motivation.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
* Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with clients, peers, and senior management.
