As an Offshore Troubleshooter - WTG, you will carry out maintenance work and repairs on the wind turbines at the Kaskasi offshore wind farm and assume responsibility for work and equipment on the turbine in accordance with the tasks. This will ensure that the turbines are maintained in a safe, high-quality and efficient manner, taking into account commercial factors.
Your future plans:
1. Troubleshooting and repairs of plant components on the turbine type: Siemens Gamesa 8DD
2. Carrying out more extensive measurements, tests, inspections and maintenance
3. Supporting the planning (partly independently), coordination and execution of maintenance and repair activities as well as carrying out repair measures on the systems, equipment and installations
4. Reviewing and supporting the preparation, execution and documentation of maintenance assignments by third-party companies
5. Creating error reports and processing operationally relevant documentation such as work instructions, maintenance manuals and circuit diagrams
6. Documenting the work carried out using electronic reporting systems (mainly SAP PM)
7. Compliance with and monitoring of occupational safety regulations and creation of risk assessments and procedural instructions for repairs
8. Actively promote and contribute to continuous optimisation and improvements
Your profile:
9. Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician or mechatronics technician
10. Extensive and in-depth experience in troubleshooting offshore wind turbines of the Siemens Gamesa 6-8DD type
11. Team spirit, proactivity, accuracy and a structured way of working should not be foreign words for you.
12. 33kV switching authorisation is an advantage
13. Offshore qualification and training in accordance with GWO are a prerequisite for this job.
14. Fluent written and spoken English
15. Willingness and flexibility to work a two-week shift system in day & night shift from an SOV and the island of Helgoland
16. You are physically fit and able to work at height and on the high seas.
