About the role BayWa r.e. is undertaking a major digital transformation program, including the implementation and support of Workday Finance and Procurement across its many global entities. • You will provide key financial support to enable smooth operations of companies live with Workday Finance and Procurement, and implement new functionality and enhancements as needed • You will be able to work closely with a collaborative international team of in-house Workday functional experts, who are rolling out Workday to Germany and further countries in the next years • You will be able to build experience across almost all Workday modules, as we are maximizing the use of this solution • You will be empowered to improve processes, enhance the solution, and drive change across the entire organization What you will do • Provide Tier 2 and 3 financial functional support to internal customers (research, troubleshoot and resolve a queue of Workday Financials issues, prioritizing resolution based on severity and impact) • Conduct global Workday Administration activities (set up and maintain core system data as needed) • Oversee Workday release enhancements and testing in collaboration with internal customers • Deliver enhancements and process improvements in collaboration with the Workday functional experts and live countries using Workday • Collaborate with the Workday funcional experts to deliver, test, document and train on critical process and system modifications • Gain expertise in the Workday Financial product and maintain knowledge of new functionality and compliance changes • Collaborate with Workday external consultants and Workday product team on complex solutions/product limitations when needed What you’ll need to succeed • 4 years of demonstrated ability supporting or implementing Workday (or similar system) in a multinational working environment • Confident with financial terminology and business processes as demonstrated with prior accounting or controlling responsibilities • Demonstrated ability to learn new complex software and processes • Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, multi-tasking and analytical skills • Clear communication and ability to work with stakeholders across cultures and at all levels • University degree in a relevant field, or a comparable qualification • Fluent English is required, both written and spoken • Familiarity with Workday Financial Management is a big plus • Familiarity with system support ticketing systems is a plus What’s in it for you?
