Job Description
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement sales strategies, including pricing, to meet financial objectives
* Lead sales activities and grow business through distribution networks and cooperatives
* Provide market intelligence and competitor analysis to inform business decisions
* Manage and support the agronomist to ensure sound technical support
* Engage with industry organisations and stakeholders to build relationships and identify opportunities
* Forecast demand and advise on demand planning
* Prepare and manage annual budgets for sales and expenditures
* Submit regular reports through the CRM system and as required by management
* Ensure product stewardship and compliance with industry regulations
* Travel regularly (approximately 50% of the time, depending on the season) to meet clients and attend industry events
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Agronomy or equivalent experience
* Minimum five years' sales experience in fertilizers or crop nutrition on the German market, preferably with specialty products
* Familiarity with distribution and cooperatives
* Strong negotiation skills and experience working in a matrix environment
* Solid understanding of economic, legal & regulatory aspects in the industry
* Knowledge of financial concepts
* Fluent in English and German
* Solution-oriented approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work autonomously
* Organized, disciplined, and comfortable with data-driven decision making
* Willing to travel regularly (approximately 50% of the time, seasonally dependent)
