Part of the Sales department, you will directly report to the Senior Sales & Marketing Director who is based in Lyon HQ. As you will represent Bandai Toys business in Germany and Austria, you will be based in Frankfurt and be in contact with several teams based in Lyon, on a daily basis (Supply Chain, Finance, Sales Administration, Marketing).
Given this specific structure, ability to work independently and good communication skills will be necessary.
You will be responsible for managing retailers, maintaining a long-term relationship with accounts and maximizing sales and trade marketing opportunities.
Your main responsibilities will include (non-exhaustive list):
* Implement and execute the Commercial and Sales strategy established by the Sales & Marketing Director
* Manage on a daily basis centralized clients and retailers at national or regional level for all the products of our portfolio
* Negotiate annual listings, retail catalogues visibility, shelve space for Spring and Fall Seasons as well as Christmas Season, and negotiate and coordinate promotional activities
* Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
* Plan and manage products portfolio, assigned customers assigned, business development according with the agreed commercial strategy of the company
* Formulate, recommend, and execute the strategic planning and delivery of customer in-store permanent and promotional point of sale programs
* Analyse the toy market and follow up the actual toy lines on the market
* Plan and monitor store-check activities
* Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, within the toy industry
* Experience within the licensing industry is a plus
* Knowledge of channels and customers dynamics to improve the quality of our commercial propositions
* Use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Power Point
* Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written
* Ability to work independently
* Presentation, public-speaking and good communication skills
