We develop and manufacture locomotives that get things moving all over the world with their tractive power. In your role, you will help customers to install the latest ETCS system on their vehicles. You will act as a link between the engineering departments, sales and project management. You will represent the technology internally and externally (e.g. production, project management, customers and approval authorities). During the bid phase, you will be responsible for preparing the technical part of the bid in line with deadlines, costs and quality and will fulfill the tasks of the Technical Bid Manager (f/m/d). You will manage and coordinate the technical bid team. You will also review the technical and commercial tender documents with regard to technical content and risks. During the project phase, you will be responsible for coordinating the work packages and the assigned internal and external interface partners in cooperation with the project managers of the subsystems. You will be responsible for the error-free implementation of the defined locomotive architecture in line with requirements, deadlines and costs. You are the central engineering contact for all interface partners for your project. What do you bring along? The basis for your success is a Master's degree in electrical engineering, control engineering or computer science or a similar relevant subject. You have many years of professional experience in engineering, project environment or commissioning, which you have acquired in the field of rail vehicle technology. You also have knowledge of ETCS systems. Ideally, you are familiar with the European train control systems, know the associated approval and integration regulations from your professional practice and have already gone through the engineering process to be aligned with them with a high degree of personal responsibility. You have experience in the technical management of teams as well as in international cooperation Fluent German and English, as well as a willingness to travel domestically and abroad (approx. 10%) round off your profile.
