As a Senior Strategic Program Manager Indirect Procurment, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful changes by analyzing spend data, identifying saving potential, and executing strategies to realize these savings within the assigned BU. You will play a critical role in implementing global saving initiatives and leading global projects. This position focuses on budget efficiency, generating savings, optimal contractual payment term negotiations and vendor consolidation.
Your tasks
1. Work closely with the procurement analytics team and finance team to conduct a comprehensive spending analysis and identify potential savings opportunities.
2. Act as a critical bridge between the global initiatives and the business unit. Ensure alignment with the global strategies and objectives
3. Drive the implementation of global category management strategies with the aim to achieve maximum efficiency and cost optimisation
4. Lead and manage projects associated with efficiencies, savings generation, contractual payment terms optimisation, vendor consolidation, and other essential procurement areas
5. Engage with senior stakeholders and external partners to optimally manage the spend
6. Monitor the effectiveness of procurement strategies and processes. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiencies and savings
Your profile
7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
8. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience preferably in Finance and/or Procurement
9. Excellent leadership skills and change management mindset
10. Strong commercial acumen and experience in project management
11. Strategic thinking and the ability to solve complex business problems
12. Proficient in negotiation and persuasion skills
13. Results-driven with prompt decision-making capability
14. Driven towards self-development and open to adapting to change
15. Strong organizational and project management skills
16. Fluency in English
