This is a rare opportunity for an eager commercial talent to build a new Business Unit from scratch within a leading, FTSE100, global medical products and technologies company.
As the Commercial Director for the Continence Care Business Unit in Germany, you will build your own sales and marketing team and will work hands-on with key customers to kick-start and grow the business. You will work closely with the European VP and with your counterparts in other key EU markets, but you will have plenty of room and be expected to recommend your own go-to-market strategy based on local market dynamics.
You must have experience working in Healthcare and specifically with Homecare companies and be eager for a hands-on and exciting career challenge.
YOUR PROFILE
* A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalency is required.
* Sales and Marketing experience at leadership level.
* Knowledge of the German Healthcare market and system.
* Strong Commercial experience with Homecare companies.
* Hands-on approach.
* Passion for building a new business.
* Fluent in English and German Language.
* You are based in Germany, preferably in the nearer Munich area.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set the go-to-market strategy in line with BU direction and local market dynamics.
* P&L ownership for Sales & Marketing CC business.
* Hiring, developing, and retaining key talent and knowledge within the organization.
* Launch new products.
* Leverage market research and competitive intelligence to maximize market opportunities.
* Know the local economic, market, and industry trends and use trend data to maximize opportunities and minimize risk exposure.
* Work collaboratively with supportive functions.
* Along with the sales leadership and training team, own the implementation of the ConvaTec Salesforce Excellence program to drive efficient and effective use of our field resource.
* Deliver financial commitments to optimize short-term performance and long-term growth while ensuring compliance with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
* Collaborate and agree on appropriate budget goals aligned with external marketplace and internal strategy.
