From the design phase to in-orbit testing, your mission is to create cutting-edge network architectures for satellite systems, including both Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) constellations. The Mission: Architectural Prowess : Define intricate network architectures encompassing space nodes, ground nodes, and user terminals. Master of Communication : Develop communication protocols and meticulously assess their impact on the digital payload architecture. Simulate Success : Conduct traffic model simulations to optimize network performance. Architectural Trade-offs : Perform astute subsystem and systems architecture trade-offs, backed by comprehensive performance analysis. Supplier Synergy : Collaborate directly with suppliers across space, ground, and user domains, reviewing unit-level performance and interfaces while ensuring suitability. Interstellar Interface : Craft Interface Requirement Documents (IRD) for seamless interaction with space, ground, and user segments. On-Board Brilliance : Support Payload System Engineers in defining onboard processing requirements. Grounded Evaluation : Evaluate ground facilities to ensure they align with the mission's objectives. Your Qualifications: Hold a degree in telecommunications, electronics, electrical engineering, informatics, or a related discipline. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of network management for terrestrial applications. Showcase expertise in modelling traffic routing for complex systems. Exhibit exceptional organizational, prioritization, and communication skills. Possess proficient English language skills. Familiarity with 5G protocols and 3GPP workgroups is a plus.
