WHITE MOUNTAINS COMMUNITY COLLEGE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT PART-TIME, $21.16-$23.47/HOUR SCOPE OF WORK: Provides administrative support and office coordination for the Workforce Development Department. This position reports to the Manager of Workforce Development at White Mountains Community College (WMCC). ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provides administrative support for the Workforce Development Department as assigned, which includes but is not limited to maintaining filing systems, monitoring and updating documents, drafting and editing business and instructor contract templates, and creating databases to manage information for the Workforce Development Department. Serves as the point of contact for the office with all members of the college community and visitors who require assistance or information relating to Workforce Development programming. Interfaces with instructors, staff, students, and other office visitors, greeting, directing, and responding to their needs as appropriate. Assists the Manager of Workforce Development with planning and coordination of training schedules and processing of contracts and invoices. Maintains data spreadsheets relating to the Department�s instructor rosters, vendors, business contracts, and customized trainings. Collects, stores, and maintains instructor hiring paperwork and training and instructor evaluation data. Manages and updates all Workforce Development Department program related calendars. Assists with room reservations for Workforce Development events and trainings in conjunction with the Assistant to the President via online Facility Use Requests. Assists Workforce Development Manager with the creation of course numbers, student ID numbers, instructor numbers, and vendor numbers in Banner as needed. Supports updating and maintenance of Workforce Development portion of the WMCC website and College Catalog. Composes and distributes meeting minutes and maintains appropriate records and correspondence for Workforce Development stakeholder meetings. Assists the LNA Program Coordinator with administrative tasks, record storage, training organization, and provides additional support as needed. Assists the ATF Coordinator with administrative and associated tasks. Maintains and shares knowledge of WMCC and Workforce Development policies and procedures. Complies with all system, college, state and federal rules and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or equivalent credential. Experience: Five years of experience in a responsible clerical position, including experience in office coordination/management and administrative support. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience. License/Certification: Valid driver's license or access to transportation. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Excel. Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud, database management, and Banner software preferred.
