Welcome to the Proactive Messaging team at LivePerson! We are a team of 4 engineers located across 2 countries (India and Germany). We are looking for a Software Engineer (SDE I) (all genders) to join our team. You will work in a fast-paced environment on projects spanning different company areas, aiming to enhance and simplify how brands engage with their customers through messaging.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to (your tasks):
7. Leverage your NodeJS knowledge to enhance new features, maintain platform stability, and drive continuous technical excellence.
8. Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
9. Maintain services using RESTful API conventions and a microservices approach.
10. Debug production issues and help maintain existing code.
11. Implement internal process improvements, including automating manual tasks and optimizing data flows and infrastructure for scalability and stability.
12. Collaborate with engineers, engineering managers, and stakeholders to ensure valuable contributions and refine product features.
13. Provide on-call support as needed.
He re are some of the things you'll bring (requirements):
14. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
15. 2 - 3 years of experience with Java, primarily using Springboot
16. Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
17. Experience with RESTful APIs and distributed microservices architecture.
18. Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
19. Proficient in using tools such as GitLab CI and FluxCD.
20. Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
21. Knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
22. Strong communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have:
23. Experience with Kafka, GraphQL, or Google Cloud.
24. Knowledge of Angular UI development.
