AbbVie is seeking qualified candidates for an Early Career University Relations Manager opening to join our Human Resources team supporting Germany. Your role is to provide support and structure to attracting and developing young talented professionals that can be part of AbbVie’s future. You will report into the Sr Manager Early Career Germany and lead the university relations recruitment execution strategy and Graduate talent management for AbbVie’s Early Careers portfolio across all functions. Additionally, you will work with leaders in the businesses to support and drive the hiring timelines and processes to ensure a sustainable talent pipeline for future leaders at AbbVie. You will also collaborate with colleagues across the globe to share best practices and enhance the quality of the Early Career development program experience at AbbVie. This means: Execute and drive the Early Career hiring and strategy for Germany including R&D, Operations and Commercial function Hiring for but not limited to: Trainee, Graduate Development Programs, Apprentice, Dual Student, Post Doc, PhD, Intern and Working Student positions Focusing on university relations management, governance, controlling/reporting, applications planning, talent development, talent and performance management, communication and feedback mechanisms and post program management Partner and create long term relationships with key universities Establish candidate pools across the Early Career offering Manage and coordinate events in the Early Career space to drive market visibility Create and maintain a strategic workforce plan to anticipate and prepare for future organizational needs Close partnership with Universities and Talent Acquisition to ensure strategy and recruiting of Early Career talent are aligned Conduct all functional on-boarding programming and activities for new hires, assignment managers, and mentors Deliver a program curriculum focused on functional and leadership development Partner with assignment managers on talent and performance assessments Provide career coaching and development opportunities to Early Career members Leverage global Early Career programs to complement local strategies and programs, partner with Talent Acquisition on sourcing aspects Retention and/or return strategy for Early Career talent including transfer planning into regular roles as well as creation and maintenance of an Alumni program Establish a true business partnership internally with leaders, assignment managers, Business Human Resources, Talent Management and Talent Acquisition on all Early Career related activities Compile and communicate Early Career knowledge, industry overviews, best practices and market trends Partner to understand the perspective of the Works Council and find mutual benefit solutions Identify, create and report key metrics Drive Early Career Employer Branding /EVP initiates in collaboration with the EVP Specialist Create awareness at events and conferences and manage Early Career assets
