Your role
As Sustainability Specialist (m/f/d) you will be part of our Sustainability Team within our Scent & Care Business Unit. You will be our expert for human rights and develop a risk assessment dashboard for Fragrances, validate external risks and develop mitigation plans. This role is central to serve several key stakeholders across the organization. Our Sustainability Team consists of 9 colleagues working from all around the world. This position is a full-time employement to be located in our Global Headquater in Holzminden, Germany.
1. HUMAN RIGHTS RISK ASSESSMENT & RISK MANAGEMENT: Develop a Human Rights program for Fragrances to support customer requirements.
2. CUSTOMER PARTNERSHIP PROJECTS LEAD: Develop multistakeholder partnership projects with customers and NGOs under our ‘Bridging the Gap’ Programme
3. DATA COLLECTION AND MANAGEMENT: Support Customer team in collecting and analysing data and responding to customer queries.
4. CUSTOMER STEWARDSHIP: Develop and present customer projects & roadmaps on sustainable sourcing of ingredients and human rights.
About you
5. You sucessfully completed your Masters in International Development, Agriculture Engineering, Sustainability or similar.
6. You have 5 years of experience in a sustainability role or a related position.
7. You are experienced in Human Rights in the context of smallholder supply chains, as well as Biodiversity protection, including deforestation.
8. You have good analytical skills, as data collection, analysis and management.
9. You have good communication and interpersonal skills, that are a real asset in your way to collaborate and engage others.
10. You're familiar with global and regional market trends.
11. You have a strategic mindset to provide valuable input in human rights & risk assessment methodologies.
12. You're a fluent business English speaker and have a good command in a second major language such as Spanish, German or French.
