Your Job
1. Responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation & satisfactory completion of medium- or large-scale IT projects according to agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)
2. Acting as Agile Coach / Project Manager for an agile development team including coordination/handling of the project backlog
3. Accountability for creation of project charters and effort estimations within the scoping and budget approval process
4. Initialization of IT projects according to approved project charters and particularly manage the staffing of the project team
5. Transparent and consistent communication with the project stakeholders in Business and IT and achieving alignment with neighbouring projects
6. Accountability for project budget and reporting and delivery of project goals in time and budget
7. Identification, assessment and management of risks and issues to the success of the project
Your Profile
8. Several years of experience in IT project management, preferably in application development and hence in-depth knowledge of the processes of the entire software development and product life cycle
9. Demonstrable experience in agile project management methodologies like Scrum
10. Excellent communication skills, strong experience in the management of diverging interests of various stakeholders, ability to set priorities in a pragmatic and efficient way combined with profound cost consciousness
11. Track record of successful implementations that delivered value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes
12. Consulting and collaborative working style creating a culture of accountability and sharing
13. High degree of commitment and the willingness and ability to master the various tasks are essential
14. Good understanding of Reinsurance and/or Claims core business processes are nice to have
15. Experience with Azure DevOps (Boards, Backlogs, etc.) or similar tools
16. University degree, preferably in Computer engineering / IT or similar qualification
17. Fluent command of German (nice to have) and Business English
