Your job:
* Guidance through the target costing process resulting in the derivation of target manufacturing costs
* Determination of manufacturing costs within the framework of PDP and other projects with a focus on benchmark and best practice including associated reporting and monitoring on the basis of e.g. sketches, drawings, 3D models, especially for electronic products and electronics production
* Derivation of manufacturing cost reduction potentials as part of the project work, taking into account the design for manufacturing process and common industry standards
* Advising and training specialist departments with regard to production-oriented design, component selection and arrangement
* Consistency and plausibility checks of manufacturing cost calculations created by third parties/in SAP incl. deviation analyses
* Creation of manufacturing cost evaluations/analyses for global footprint scenarios
* Creation of PCF evaluations within the scope of projects and for series products
Your qualification:
* Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical or industrial engineering or comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in the industrial engineering environment with reference to manufacturing costs
* Sound knowledge of electronics products and production processes
* Very good IT skills (MS Office and SAP) and ideally know-how in dealing with Siemens TcPCM
* Very good written and spoken German and English skills
* Highly independent and analytical way of working
* Strong team and customer orientation
* Very good presentation, consulting and training skills
