Overview (Scope of Role) The Category Procurement Specialist will drive raw materials sourcing B & C categories in order to secure short, mid and long-term reliable supply of tactical raw materials at the best possible economics for Trinseo businesses (estimated spend up to 20 MM euro). Mainly supporting European binders business with further support for the team with the dashboard, SAP support, (also in regards to S4) and reporting. Manage B and C Raw materials procurement categories (20 MM $ spend) Identification and qualification of new vendors Decrease single sources/ optimize small RM sourcing Monthly/quarterly price negotiations and implementation SAP support for team/EUR dashboard management/reporting support/Manage supplier relationship management program Assist in identifying, developing, and proposing sources, solicit suppliers, receive quotations and bids. Undertake negotiation of orders, follow-up, schedule and expedite deliveries. Other projects: Different quality of existing material Production process improvement Secure new materials Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or other applicable area of study with strong analytical skills and/or relevant experience Minimum Experience: 1 years of procurement experience preferred but not required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to analyze and interpret data, excel skills, internal and external relationship management, interest in the petrochemicals industry, team player.
