Our client's German Research Center is responsible for advanced technical research, architecture evolution design and strategic technical planning for the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) solutions provider and here at Munich, you will be researching and developing signal processing, components and systems for fixed access, data center networks, metro and long-haul optical networks for The Optical and Quantum Communications Laboratory (BU).
To strengthen their Munich team in this effort, they are hiring High Speed Analog IC Designer.
Responsibilities
* Develop Technical Directions into the Design of High-Speed Optical Communication Analog ICs and Wireless Communication RFICs, including but not limited to the following technologies: High-speed TIA design technology, CDR design technology, driver design technology, analog equalization technique and high-speed interconnection SerDes design technology
* Formulate and participate in the overall architecture planning of the ICs, independently complete the schematic design, simulation and layout of key modules
* Responsible for analog integrated circuit design for advanced optical access communication network as well as Fiber-to-the-Room products
Requirements
* Ph.D Degree in analog integrated circuit design, RF/Microwave integrated circuit design or related field
* More than 5 years working experience on advanced technologies in High-Speed Optical Communication Analog ICs area, with successful design/implementation of related devices. Long term observation with solid analyses to the advanced high-speed optical communication and optical access technologies and their trends. Understand the advantages and disadvantages of the mainstream architecture of each related device. Implementation experience of sub-6GHz RFICs and familiarity with analog RF is a plus.
* Be familiar with various IC manufacturing process and the performance of major foundry factories and mainstream processes in the industry and know well with the back-end layout development and the basic process of tape-out.
* Proficient in analog circuit development environment, including Linux system, mainstream schematic design tools, layout design tools, parasitic parameter extraction tools and DRC (design rule check) tools.
* Proficient in at least one of the following advanced programming languages: Matlab, Python, Verilog.
* Be proficient in using one or more tools, such as EMX, Peakview, ADS, Momentum, Cadence, CST and HFSS.
* Fluent in English (written and oral), German is a plus; and good capability of communication, team working, and open mind for new challenges.
