If so, we’d love to hear from you We're seeking a collaborative HR manager, to support our German business to help shape our continued success. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will help to enhance our operational excellence and strategic HR impact of the service. With the support of the People Director – UK & Europe based in London, you will also work closely with the wider Senior Leadership Team and could have the opportunity to travel to any of our UK and European offices. The position will be based in our Düsseldorf office, although may benefit from occasional travel to other office in German to form working relationships. The role will incorporate everything from views and suggestions to make improvements in our service delivery, to more transactional tasks such as generating employment contracts, monitoring and leading monthly payroll (to notify the third-party provider) and some support for recruitment. This role will cover all aspects of HR, through providing support to people in each of our five offices in Germany (covering circa 50 staff). Therefore, we are looking for an individual with strong administrative and organisational skills, with knowledge and passion for HR to provide support and help to our German business continue to thrive and grow. As a HR Manager offering and providing a broad range of generalist HR, employment law and operational HR expertise, you must also demonstrate that you embody Currie & Brown’s values of being professional, collaborative, and honest. Alongside this, you should be capable of handling both extraordinary and the everyday HR, providing comprehensive advice with an evidenced track record of achievement and personal impact in a HR setting. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working in conjunction with the wider People team across Europe to deliver transformational and transactional excellence across HR practice in country Lead monthly payroll processing, through a third party, ensuring a high level of accuracy Ensure legal and regulatory HR compliance across all areas of responsibility Support the ongoing development and improvements, including, managing, redesigning, creating new and improved processes and procedures and supporting the wider UK and European team to deliver an excellent HR service Provide considered and responsive HR support and guidance to all stakeholders Conducting regular audits and maintaining accurate data and files across our systems. Support continuous development and improvement, including managing, designing, and creating new and improved processes and procedures, and support the wider business to delivering excellent HR service Managing all HR administrative aspects related to the role, including maintaining personnel records and payroll, such as benefit administration, annual leave, sick leave, and contracts management Maintain and/or develop policies and undertake project work as required within HR strategy, arising from legislative changes or because of best practice and business needs Support HR projects aligned with our people strategy Managing lease cars, included management of agreements and administration Skills: Knowledge and demonstrative experience in HR with an understanding of HR payroll processing Knowledge of HR systems and adaptable IT skills, such as excel, report writing/MI Strong analytical skills and excellent accuracy and attention to details Ability to independently collaborate with all stakeholders, providing expert advice and support A team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude, outgoing, polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful and flexible Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong administration background About You About Us Currie & Brown is one of the world’s leading physical assets management and construction consultancies, dedicated to advising clients in respect of the management and utilisation of their physical assets, and is differentiated by innovation, expertise and experience.
