BUSINESS UNIT
At HRS, Finance shall be more than just a department—it's the backbone of our business triumphs. It's the fuel that powers streamlined financial management and meticulous control, supporting every aspect of our operations. From Financial and Cash Flow Management, to Accounting, Long-Term Financing, Tax Management, Investment Strategy, Purchasing, Controlling, Budgeting, Forecasting, and comprehensive Financial Reporting and Analysis. In an ideal scenario, Finance is not just crunching numbers but act as strategic partners who advise and challenge the CEO, Business Unit Leaders, and Managers in their pivotal decisions.
Operating as a shared service across the vast HRS Group landscape, the team of approximately 40 experts thrives on collaboration. Guided by the CFO and his adept Management Team, they are all about efficiency through standardized workflows and leverage cutting-edge decision-making tools and principle-based insights to bolster the company´s resilience in times of rapid change.
POSITION
We are looking for a Cologne or Berlin based Global Accounting Manager (all genders) who will play a key role in managing accounting operations within a decentralized international environment. In this role, you will oversee the financial consolidation process, drive the harmonization of accounting procedures across global entities, and help establish and implement consistent global accounting standards. You will report directly to the Team Lead Global Accounting.
CHALLENGE
* Point of contact for specific subsidiaries regarding accounting and reporting matters, as well as for accounting and tax providers of our international entities
* Responsible for specific consolidation topics on a global level (e.g. intercompany reconciliations, consolidation of investments, elimination of intercompany profits, etc.), including preparation and posting of related consolidation entries
* Calculation of key performance indicators for monthly reporting
* Involvement in transfer pricing matters
* Participation in various finance projects
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
* Completed university degree with a background in business administration or comparable apprenticeship. Additional qualification as a certified accountant is an advantage
* At least 3 years of experience in group accounting or auditing, ideally in an international environment, with solid expertise in accounting and German GAAP (HGB)
* Experience with Lucanet or other consolidation systems, as well as strong skills in SAP and MS Office
* Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

LOCATION, MOBILITY, INCENTIVE
The attractive remuneration is in line with the market and, in addition to a fixed monthly salary, all necessary work equipment and mobility, will also include an annual bonus.
This role can be based in Cologne or Berlin.
