We are looking for an Accountant Soparfi (M/F) on a permanent contract. Under the supervision of the team manager: You will take responsibility for a portfolio of companies, overlooking A to Z transactions including maintenance of accurate accounting records, cashbook entries, expenses, and payroll record keeping and posting of all necessary month/year end transactions. Analysis of legal documentation (sales or purchase agreements, loan agreements, etc.). You will be responsible for preparing annual accounts according to Lux GAAP, Tax returns, periodic and annual VAT returns and regulatory returns (BCL reports). Handling inquiries from auditors, clients, and tax authorities, as well as addressing internal accounting related issues, will be part of your responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to work with various clients. Reporting on client needs and demands will be essential. Assisting with other accounting projects to improve the efficiency of the accounting processes will be part of your job including the guidance to the junior Accountant(s). You will stay informed of accounting, regulatory, tax and legal changes which impact the job role and advise management on needed actions.
