Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead Channel Partner sales activities related to products, systems, and services within the Pharma, Life Sciences, and Specialty Chemicals industry segments for the European market. Each day, you will drive the PAEN division's sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction while implementing strategies to achieve greater market penetration and stronger collaboration across regions and divisions. You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing and executing indirect sales strategies with clear business plans for the Pharma, Life Sciences, and Specialty Chemicals segments in collaboration with Partner Business teams across Europe. • Building relationships with key stakeholders, including End Users, EPCs, and Consultants, to establish thought leadership, drive market pull, and ensure successful pursuit strategies for major accounts and projects. • Coaching and enabling GPB teams and channel partners to sell effectively into the target segments, ensuring the use of standard tools, processes, and risk management practices. • Identifying industry trends and opportunities through benchmarking and analysis, creating compelling value propositions, and coordinating sales and marketing efforts with channel partners to achieve growth targets. • Identifying key projects using internal and external resources and works with local teams and partners to create pursuit strategies. Qualifications for the role
* You are highly skilled in leveraging automation technologies, including middleware (MES - Manufacturing Execution Systems), with extensive expertise in the Pharma, Life Sciences, and Specialty Chemicals industries.
* You can demonstrate your experience in business development within global and/or complex organizations, with 15+ years of experience emphasizing consultative skills, market positioning, and creating demand for offerings.
* You possess advanced knowledge of managing and marketing batch products and have 5+ years of specific experience in this area.
* You are passionate about delivering compelling presentations, developing value propositions, and collaborating effectively within virtual and indirect teams. Your attributes include high self-drive, credibility, and energy.
* You have extensive knowledge in Engineering (or an equivalent area of study or experience). An MBA is a plus, and alternative educational backgrounds can be offset by practical experience.
* You have a global mindset and intercultural sensitivity that enable you to excel in an international environment.
* You are at ease communicating in English and German to collaborate effectively with cross-cultural teams and stakeholders.
