The Rewards Consultant for EMEA plays a critical role in the oversight of the compensation and benefits strategy across the region. The incumbent will work closely with colleagues in the Center of Expertise and with members of Local, Regional and Business HR organizations. The primary focus is to provide specialist Compensation and Benefits support to the Electronics Business in EMEA, and to participate as a team member in Regional and Global Projects.
The Electronics Business has over employees in EMEA across more than 10 countries including Czech Republic, Spain, Germany, France, the UK, Belgium, Switzerland.
Your key responsibilities:
1. Adapt and implement C&B policies locally in coordination with the corporate Global Rewards team
2. Initiate and drive rewards related projects locally and regionally (examples include sales incentive, benefits alignment, market competitiveness, benefits sourcing)
3. Ensure reward programs are communicated and understood
4. Accountable for reward components in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
5. Manage brokerage relationship
6. Provide consulting support to HR colleagues and managers in C&B subject areas
7. Advocate reward angle in HR and business discussions
8. Educate the company on Rewards practices and requirements of the countries in the regions
9. Escalate and resolve compensation or benefits concerns that may exist at country level
10. Work to make the company’s chosen HR model effective and efficient.
Your qualification profile:
11. University degree in Business, HR Management or similar discipline preferred
12. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compensation & benefits in international organizations
13. Proven ability to monitor market trends and adapt policies to changing business environments and / or local legislation changes
14. Experience in M&A and its impact on Global Rewards policies would be an advantage
15. Familiarity with the design and administration of company pension plans, experience in UK and/or Germany pension preferred.
16. Detailed knowledge and experience with one or more global HR consultancy market pricing methodologies
17. Maturity to be a credible resource for both country management and Global Rewards Leaders
18. Demonstrated ability to establish and manage a complex network of key stakeholders
19. Project management experience at a regional level and proven results in delivering successful C&B projects
20. Hands on and innovative approach
21. Ability to work independently in a dynamic and changing environment
22. Analytical, flair for change management, trustworthy, high level of integrity and ethical standards
23. Fluency in English is essential and one other European language would be an asset.
