Leasing Manager (m/f/d) Düsseldorf
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Leasing Manager for two shopping centers in Germany. Our client is a global real estate company operating in over 30 countries across multiple continents. They specialize in developing, investing in, and managing sustainable real estate assets in dynamic and innovative environments.
Your Responsibilities
* Oversee the entire leasing process for two shopping centers in Germany, from acquisition to final leasing agreements.
* Collaborate with other departments to develop and update the product strategy for these shopping centers.
* Analyze market potential and create innovative leasing strategies and concepts tailored to the shopping centers.
* Monitor and analyze tenant performance (e.g., sales, tenant mix) to plan and continuously optimize the tenant mix for the locations.
* Work closely with center management teams, as well as legal, construction, and marketing departments.
* Prepare and fulfill the annual leasing budget.
* Manage existing client relationships and strengthen sustainable relationships with national and international tenants.
* Expand the network of contacts by identifying new brands and opportunities, using platforms such as LinkedIn, Xing, and Instagram.
* Proactively reach out to new operators, bringing fresh business ideas that add value to the shopping centers.
* Register, document, and report all actions and activities related to your work in the CRM system (Salesforce).
* Report directly to the Leasing Country Manager.
Your Profile
* A completed degree in business administration, management, marketing, or a commercial qualification focused on retail or real estate, or equivalent experience.
* Proven professional experience in retail leasing, ideally within shopping centers, retail parks, or similar sectors (e.g., Sales Manager or Key Account Manager in retail).
* Knowledge of relevant leasing frameworks and commercial tenancy law.
* A strong interest in the retail and branding landscape.
* Excellent financial, analytical, and customer-focused skills.
* Strong negotiation and communication abilities, coupled with assertiveness and a team-oriented mindset.
* Highly organized, innovative, and creative in solving challenges.
* Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
* Fluency in both German and English is required.
